hands-on training offer limited class sizes and no pressure sales
to ensure the contractor can focus on learning. On a regular basis, The Stamp Store offers seven different classes. Each of these classes are one day and cost only $250 each when paid 30 days prior. Sealers & Stain Sealers/Coatings
This class explains preparation for the three major stain types: reactive (acid); passive (water) and dyes; the advantages of each; when and where to use them; and in what sequence they may be used. The Sealer and Coating segment discusses the differences between sealers and coatings, looking at strengths and limitations of each; where to use them and how to apply them. Important efflorescence and moisture mitigation information is also shared.

This class brings you useful mix design and admixture information so you can increase your productivity while improving the long term durability of the concrete. Coloring methods and important reinforcement tips are covered along with methods of making of making monolithic pours with contrasting borders, ribbons and steps. “Front End Work,” Doug’s method of “collecting the check” is explained along with pricing, company branding and making cosmetic repairs.

Decorative Overlays and Repair
Appropriate surface preparation is explained as well as matching the correct product in order to arrive at the desired result. Explanations and applications of the three major horizontal overlays products are demonstrated: micro fine skim coats; spray knockdowns and stencils; and stamped overlays. The various coloring and sealer/coating choices are explored with the important aspect of slip/fall precautions explained.

Countertops, Sinks, and Tables
This class will teach the versatility of concrete as a countertop, table, shelving, back splash, base board, fireplace surround, sink and sealer material both in cast-in-place and pre-cast methods. Coloring, reinforcement and coatings are explored as well as polishing and special effects. All enCOUNTER products will be used throughout this class.
