LOCAL PROGRAM TEACHES WOMEN CONCRETE ACID STAINING

Oklahoma City, OK—February 25, 2010—Thinking about living with concrete floors? “Some people might cringe under the idea of living with concrete floors,” says instructor Aylisa Marion. “But actually, concrete floors are surprisingly comfortable underfoot. And even better when you’ve done it yourself.” That’s why on April 17, The Stamp Store 125 NE 40th St in Oklahoma City is offering a “women’s only” acid stain class.

“As women, we want a floor that can be easily maintained, withstand the kids and dogs all while being beautiful and unique,” says Aylisa. The answer is acid stained concrete floors. According to Aylisa, “Women can acid stain a floor no problem. You just need a little practice, the right tools and products.” Learning to acid stain a floor is easy, especially after woman have attended the class. Dana Johnson, manager of The Stamp Store in Oklahoma City, instructs women on a daily basis when they come into the store. “No need to hire someone,” she says especially when women ask if this is something they can do.

Want to learn more?  Enroll now for the “women’s only” Acid Stain class on April 17 from 8-4:30 pm for only $50.00 by calling 888-848-0059. Instructor, Aylisa Marion has been involved in the concrete industry since 2000 will guide women through the task. Aylisa’s skills were showcased at the 2009 World of Concrete, the industry’s largest trade show, where she was one of 12 featured artists. She and her husband Mark own Concrete Perceptions in Ardmore, Oklahoma, a decorative concrete retail store.
