Concrete Artesian Brings Vertical Concrete Hand Carved Rock Class to Oklahoma

Oklahoma City, OK—March 31, 2010—Doug Bannister, owner of The Stamp Store selected by Concrete Construction as one of the Ten Most Influential People in Concrete and an inductee into The Decorative Concrete Hall of Fame has made a living helping others. Because of this, Bannister has invited, World of Concrete Seminar presenter Nathan Giffin to train at the Stamp Store. “I’m a big believer that by offering quality training and teaching, contractors will be successful in their business,” Bannister says.

June 24, 25, 26, Nathan Giffin will teach his unique vertical concrete carving style, plus the methods of preparation and coloring that make his work so stunning. Griffin is an expert at making ordinary walls appear like natural stone. Vertical concrete works on surfaces from a cinder block wall outside that needs to be dressed up or a new fireplace. According to Griffin, “Literally, the possibilities are endless with vertical concrete and with the right techniques, it’s hard to tell it isn’t real stone.” More vertical applications and examples can be found at www.thestampstore.com/vertical-concrete.php.

This is a hands-on class also covers how to bid, sell, color and lots more. During the month of June this classes will be discounted 35% from $1500.00 to only $995.00. In addition to the class the student will have unlimited access to over 1000 training videos which will be made available to students online for one year on the Vertical Artisans web site.

Nathan Giffin’s rock-crafting vertical concrete class will be held at The Stamp Store in Oklahoma City, 121 NE 40th Street. Lunch will be provided daily. Class size is limited and advance reservations are necessary by calling 800-848-0059 or 405-525-2426.
